Behind the Seams: A Day at the Lyra Couture Atelier

Every Lyra Couture gown begins the same way: with a sketch and a decision.

Our design team starts each season by studying silhouettes, fabric movements, and the commercial realities of our partner boutiques worldwide. What sells in a garden-wedding market differs from what sells in a formal ballroom one — and our collections reflect that range.

Once a design is approved, fabric is sourced from our European suppliers. Our cutters work from hand-drafted patterns. Our seamstresses assemble each gown by hand, piece by piece.

Before anything leaves our atelier at 128A Holovna St. in Chernivtsi, it passes through a final quality check: seams, closures, fabric finish, measurements. Only then is it packed and dispatched.

We don't just make dresses. We craft the first heirloom of a new family history — and we take that seriously.
